The idea for Renewable Energy was conceived in October 2001, by three individuals who looked into the future and envisioned a world only five to ten years off where America's energy needs could no longer be satisfied by importing crude oil from around the world. Together they created a company that would assist individuals, families and small groups in taking care of their own energy needs.

Renewable Energy started small, with their first products being educational toys and white papers to introduce the public to the concept of renewable energy and the principles involved therewith.

As interest in renewable energy grows, the company will expand to include homescale energy conversion and energy storage devices, custom research, and other energy-related tools.
